RC2_UNKNOWN_INDICATOR
תוכן זה אינו זמין עדיין בשפה שלך.
<name>is not a recognized indicator.
What it means
You called something at the top of execute() that the transpiler can’t resolve to a built-in indicator or a custom indicator in scope.
Common causes
- Typo.
Sma,sma,MovingAverageinstead ofSMA. - Indicator from another file. Custom indicators must be in the same file (or, in a future release, imported from your organization’s catalog).
- Indicator from a stripped import. RaamCode doesn’t support
import— you can’t pull in a third-party TA library.
How to fix it
Check the spelling and capitalization. Built-ins are case-sensitive:
| Wrong | Right |
|---|---|
sma(20) |
SMA(20) |
Sma(20) |
SMA(20) |
ema(50) |
EMA(50) |
Rsi(14) |
RSI(14) |
Movingaverage(20) |
SMA(20) or EMA(20) |
For a custom indicator, make sure the class is defined in the same file:
class TR(Indicator): """True Range.""" period = Param(2, min=1, max=100) prev_close = Series(period)
def compute(self, high, low, close): self.prev_close.add(close) return high - low
class MyStrategy(Strategy): trade = Symbol() sizing = FixedCapital()
def execute(self): tr = TR(2, on=self.trade) # ✅ TR is defined above if tr.value > 0 and self.trade.is_flat: self.buy(self.trade)Note the Series(period): a Series capacity must reference a declared Param, never a bare number — Series(2) is RC2_IND_SERIES.

Those twelve are the most-used ones. The platform seeds 26, and every one of them is callable from a strategy by the identifier above its chart label — PriceOscillator, DonchianHigh, VolatilityStdDev, and the rest. The full list, with a page each, is the Indicator Catalog; the diagnostic itself also prints every name the catalog resolved for you.
